king-rose

(The cover of Florence + The Machine's album King, edited with Rose Lalonde over it.)

I can't remember what I was trying to prove anymore.

~ Rose Maryam-Lalonde ~ She/Her, Ze/Hir, Thon/Thons ~ Eldritch lesbian ~ Dersite Seer of Light ~

King (Florence + The Machine) (kind of a general rose yknow. Alpha rose, grimdark rose, postcanon rose. Generally rose)

Burning Pile (Mother Mother) (to be honest i just want to add more to rose’s playlist because. She’s cool)

Never Love An Anchor (The Crane Wives) (it’s quite generally momlonde but i think it’s more alpha rose than beta roxy)

Cassandra (Florence + The Machine) (finally a specific moment! this is grimdark rose, but also a little post-canon rose specifically in my interpretations/a little bit candy)

Paint It Black (The Rolling Stones) (also grimdark rose. Like insanely grimdark rose)

Hunger (Florence + The Machine) (there's a lot of that huh)

Leviathan The Girl (PhemieC)

What The Water Gave Me (Florence + The Machine) (this one is VERY much in vibes idk i see rose as quite a self destructive person. like she's very willing to go "ah yes and this plan also involves my suicide but don't worry about it". plus also i can see thon struggling post-canon with feeling like ze's stagnating or doesn't have anything to do.)

Seven Devils (Florence + The Machine) (this feels like rose when ze goes to kill jack noir, but generally rose on a warpath)

Mother (Florence + The Machine) (this is rose grieving)

Flowers (Hadestown) (what do i want beyond canon to do with rose? many things. one of them is a "holy shit what am i doing" style breakdown. case in point:)

Are You Hurting The One You Love? (Florence + The Machine) (i don't think any homestuck relationship should be completely 100% functional. i can pretty easily see rose getting consumed by some purpose and kanaya just having to stand by watch.)

The Horror and the Wild (The Amazing Devil) (this is possibly how rose percieves it rather than the reality of her relationship with her mother but. still)
